Shipping

All domestic orders in the US qualify for free shipping, which is included in the final price. Shipping is typically done via FedEx, however if you have a carrier of preference, I would be more than happy to accommodate for your preference, as I know some carriers may have better track records than others depending on the region. In-stock items are usually shipped out within a few business days, however custom orders typically take 6 months or more to complete. Shipping times on average are about 1 week, and I provide full tracking details, as well as track the package closely on my end and provide updates as needed.

For all international orders, please note that shipping is an additional $100 USD extra on top of the final item price (which is reflected in the final price of custom orders). Unfortunately shipping from the US to other countries is incredibly expensive as an individual at the moment and these are currently the best rates I can provide. Shipping to overseas customers is done through DHL. Also please note that all international customers are fully responsible for any additional customs fees associated with import, and customers cannot request lower declared value than the cost of the shipment.

All packages are shipped with a fully declared value with the shipping company for liability purposes, which depending on the shipping provider may or may not need a signature upon arrival. Please note that while I do everything I can to get you your package, once the instrument leaves it is no longer directly in my hands and is at the mercy of the shipping provider, which includes potential delays or other issues that may arise. However, I will work closely with the shipper to solve any issues and provide you with updates.

Returns

I fully stand behind each and every instrument I make, carefully and painstakingly crafting them with care and attention, and providing more information about them then most makers of similar instruments in the world. Every instrument is extensively tested, and I release extensive photographs of each batch, as well as a highly in-depth overview video diving into the background, development, crafting, wood selection, tone, and response, and provide sound samples of every instrument I make. Each instrument is also listed with an individualized description that shares my thoughts and perspectives on the instrument, from its strengths to its quirks, so customers have as much information as physically possible about each build to better inform their decision. Crafting these instruments takes a tremendous amount of personal time and investment, and I take pride in my craft. All instruments do require time to adjust to them and learn to play them effectively and to bring out the best in their tone and character, so you might not get the feel or tone expected immediately upon receiving it at first. However, I also understand that there is no one perfect instrument that will fit everyone, and each person has their own unique taste and preferences. In the even the instrument you purchase does not fit your needs, I will work fully with you on return requests. Return shipping for domestic orders are fully covered, however due to the high cost and risk with international orders, the extra shipping cost and liability will have to remain with the buyer. Due to the high cost to craft these instruments and their overall rarity, full refunds are issued only after the instrument has been received back and accounted for.
